Hi Laura. This is the page. The plan is to get it set up, and then I can add someone... You, or one of the kids, or someone who is doing your family history to add the details and stories.
I relayed to Jeanne last week... Genealogy is a bunch of names and dates. Family History is the stories that connect the people to us.
We are also working on Find-A-Grave to make sure that details are correct, and connections are made as it's been an invaluable resource in family searches. Debi and I have setup an account to work on this. Managing many of the family memorials, and updating them. With the intention of passing that account to the next generation of ours that are involved in family history, so they can manage them.
The Facebook groups have been fun to do, The links to which are on the home page of this website.
If you two have ideas, or input, it is always welcome.

Lewis Norman Tanner
Lewis Norman Tanner, 97, of Eugene, Ore., died of age-related causes on Sept. 5, 2021, at his daughter's home in Pleasant Hill, surrounded by his family.
Raised in Los Angeles, Calif., Lew was the son of a schoolteacher, William Roy Tanner, and a homemaker and musician, Hazel Devereaux Call Tanner. He had three siblings, Bill, Millard, and Zora. At nineteen, Lew was drafted into the Army while attending his first year at UC Berkeley. He served with the Army Corps of Engineers from Mar. 18, 1943 to Oct. 10, 1945 in England, France, Belgium, and Luxembourg. Returning home from the war, he completed his bachelor's degree in engineering at UCLA with the help of the G.I. Bill.
He met his wife, Frieda Brunner, at a Dale Carnegie course for public speaking. She remembers his sense of humor from their first class. The two married on June 22, 1952, and settled in Los Angeles. They adopted a daughter, Jeanne, in 1954, when she was two days old. Their second daughter, Carol, was born in 1956.
Lew was a faithful member of the Seventh-day Adventist church, where he taught classes for young people and created artwork for children's Christian educational materials. He was Frieda's support person as they sent supplies around the world through the organization Faith Adventures. A lifelong bibliophile, Lew could often be found sitting with his legs crossed in a comfy chair, a stack of non-fiction history books beside him. He read countless books aloud to his children and grandchildren. He was gentle, curious, witty, and unfailingly helpful. He loved nature and the outdoors and was a gifted cartoonist. He maintained his dry sense of humor to the very end and was deeply loved by his family.
